Apple's launch of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro series has prompted rival brands like Samsung and Nothing to mock the company. Samsung took a jibe at Apple's introduction of USB Type-C ports, while Nothing suggested that Apple would not adopt the new charging port despite pressure from the European Union. Google had previously released ads teasing Apple's adoption of USB Type-C. The mocking is seen as a tradition and some view it as healthy competition.
